Did you know large supermarkets are beginning to ban non-recyclable food packaging?

Tesco, the UK’s largest supermarket by market share, have announced plans to ban all non-recyclable packaging for its own-brand goods by the end of 2019. ASDA are looking to follow suit by reducing unnecessary plastic in its own-brand products by 10% at the end of 2018.

Produce growers and are at risk of reduced produce sales unless action is taken.
